The Rock Indoor Skate Park Opens for the Winter

Location: Mildred Hall Public School – Back Gym
When: Tuesdays Nights starting Nov. 3, 2009
Time: 7 pm to 9 pm
Age Group: 13 yrs & older
The Rock Skateboard Ministry has open the doors of Mildred Hall School Multi-use Gym for Yellowknife Skaters to keep shredd’n over the winter. The gym is small, confined and challenging to skate so some limitations to skaters will apply. Rules will be posted at the park and on this website soon. Make sure you read them. The Skate Ministry is using the school gym on a trial basis and it is up to you the skaters to ensure rules are followed, school property is respected and that skates work together to make the park successful. It is God that gave birth to this Skate Ministry and it is God that we will give thanks too by the way we treat His blessings and live our lives

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
Skatelife Comes to Yellowknife

Description: Skatelife demo comes to Yellowknife June 26 – July 3, 2009 to help The Rock Skateboard Ministry reach out to young people of the city through skating. Skatelife will help run a skate contest, teach a skateboard day camp, and connect with the local skate scene to encourage them & share the hope that is in Jesus Christ.
